Multi-Currency Venue Billing: 17+ Currencies on Cuetronix (2026)

· 15 min read · Cuephoria Tech

Multi-currency for venues is not about forex trading — it is about formatting the money your customers actually pay. A Dubai esports cafe bills in dirhams. A Riyadh lounge bills in riyals. Your POS must print the right symbol, decimals, and tax line every time.

What is multi-currency venue billing?

Each Cuetronix workspace has one primary currency. All session charges, F&B items, booking deposits, and membership fees display and store in that currency. When a bill is created, the currency column is stamped — immutable audit trail.

GCC currencies supported

  • AED — UAE dirham (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah)
  • SAR — Saudi riyal (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam)
  • QAR — Qatari riyal (Doha)
  • KWD — Kuwaiti dinar (3 decimal places)
  • BHD — Bahraini dinar
  • OMR — Omani rial

How signup sets currency automatically

Pick United Arab Emirates at signup → currency defaults AED, timezone Asia/Dubai, Arabic available as default language. Saudi Arabia → SAR. Qatar → QAR. Operators can override before workspace creation.

Receipts and tax labels

Configure tax label (VAT, GST, etc.) and rate in Settings. Receipts print subtotal, tax, and total in org currency. UAE operators typically use VAT 5%; KSA 15%.

Landing page INR/USD toggle vs venue currency

The Cuetronix marketing site lets visitors preview plan prices in INR or USD. Your venue's operational currency is separate — set in your workspace, not the marketing toggle.
