Cuetronix runs your venue. Playo helps players find it.

Playo is a demand-side marketplace. Cuetronix is a supply-side operating system. Most successful turfs and sports venues in India use both — Playo as a discovery channel, Cuetronix as the brain that runs the venue: POS, cafe, memberships, staff payroll, attendance, tournaments, loyalty, online bookings on your own sub-domain, and branch-level P&L.

TL;DR

Playo helps players find and pay for slots at your venue. It does not run your venue. You still need a POS, a staff/payroll tool, inventory, cafe billing, tournament brackets and multi-branch reporting. Cuetronix is that operator-side OS — and it sits happily alongside Playo for discovery.

Pricing

Cuetronix: ₹999–₹3,999/month flat · 14-day free trial · 0% commission

Playo: Free for players · venue listing commissions / subscription (varies by negotiation)

Playo monetises via booking-level commissions; Cuetronix is a flat SaaS subscription with 0% transaction fees.

Playo strengths

  • Genuine, large player base — strong demand-side network effects in India.
  • Polished consumer app with team-finder, matches, ratings & player profiles.
  • Turf-first positioning that matches how most Indian athletes already search.
  • Built-in community features (play-partner, skill tags) no operator tool replicates.

Limitations vs a full venue OS

  • No POS, cafe billing, inventory or GST invoices — you still need another tool.
  • No staff payroll, attendance or shift rostering.
  • Bookings live inside Playo's brand — you don't own the customer relationship.
  • Booking commissions scale with your revenue instead of a flat SaaS fee.
  • Limited support for non-turf verticals (snooker, PS5, VR, pickleball beyond courts).
  • Cannot power a branded online booking portal on your own domain.

FAQ

Is Cuetronix a replacement for Playo?

Cuetronix replaces the operator-side tools you need to run a venue — POS, booking portal, payments, cafe, staff payroll, attendance, tournaments and reports. Playo is a player-side discovery app. Most successful venues keep both: Cuetronix as the operating system, Playo as a discovery channel pushing bookings into Cuetronix.

Can Cuetronix receive bookings from Playo?

Yes. You can accept Playo bookings alongside your own Cuetronix portal and walk-in sales. Everything lands in the same calendar and POS, and end-of-day reconciliation is a single report.

Which is cheaper — Playo or Cuetronix?

They're different models. Playo typically takes booking-level commissions, so cost scales with your revenue. Cuetronix is a flat monthly SaaS fee from ₹999. Break-even for most turfs is around 40 paid bookings a month — beyond that Cuetronix is cheaper and you also unlock POS, payroll, cafe and reporting.

Does Cuetronix work for non-turf venues like snooker or PS5 lounges?

Yes. Cuetronix's station/court engine handles snooker tables, pool tables, PS5/Xbox consoles, PC rigs, VR pods, bowling lanes, turf slots and pickleball/padel/badminton/tennis courts from the same product.

How long does it take to switch from Playo-only to Cuetronix?

Typically 3–5 working days. Kickoff call, CSV imports, Razorpay and portal setup, staff rollout, then a 3–5 day soft-launch where Cuetronix runs alongside your current tools. You can keep your Playo listing throughout.

Will I lose my Playo ranking if I add Cuetronix?

No. Cuetronix doesn't touch your Playo listing. Your Playo rank is driven by reviews, fill-rate and response time inside Playo — all of which tend to improve with Cuetronix because slot availability is synced in real-time.

Does Cuetronix handle GST and tax invoices?

Yes. Every receipt is GST-compliant with HSN codes, and you can export Tally-ready CSVs or connect via API for monthly filing.

Do I need to train my staff to use Cuetronix?

Cuetronix is mobile-first and most front-desk staff are productive in under an hour. We include a dedicated onboarding manager during the first 14 days and ship a library of 2-minute how-to videos in English, Hindi and Tamil.
