Migration guide
Switch from ggLeap without a weekend of downtime
The thing that keeps venues on software they've outgrown is switching cost. Here's the honest picture: Clutchr billing does not require a per-PC agent, so migrating off ggLeap is mostly data-and-setup — then you pilot Clutchr PC Client on a row for lock/unlock. Most venues are live in about 48 hours, and your rigs keep gaming through all of it.
The 48-hour migration path
- Hour 0–2: create your workspace, add branches, invite staff with roles and PINs.
- Hour 2–6: model your floor — every PC, console, table and VR pod as a station with its rate card (per-minute, per-hour, happy-hour windows).
- Hour 6–12: import customers (CSV from your ggLeap export) — phone numbers, wallets and visit history map to Clutchr profiles.
- Hour 12–24: connect your own Razorpay account; test a live UPI booking end-to-end on your branded page.
- Hour 24–48: run both systems in parallel for one business day, reconcile totals, then retire the old one. Cuetronix Pvt Ltd does an onboarding call with every new venue.
What changes for your team
- No per-rig client to maintain — billing lives in the browser at the counter.
- The cafe joins the same ticket as sessions, so tabs stop living in a notebook.
- Staff attendance, shifts and payroll move into the same login.
- Your customers get a booking link that takes UPI — advance revenue you likely weren't capturing.
FAQ
How long does it take to switch from ggLeap to Clutchr?
About 48 hours for most venues: workspace setup, station modeling, customer import, Razorpay connection and one parallel-run day. Billing never requires uninstalling ggLeap first — then install Clutchr PC Client on a pilot row before full cutover.
Can I import my customer data from ggLeap?
Yes. Export your customers to CSV and import them into Clutchr — names, phone numbers and balances map to customer profiles with loyalty ready to go.
Will I lose bookings during the migration?
No. The recommended path runs both systems in parallel for one business day before cutover, and your new Razorpay booking page can start taking bookings before the old system is retired.
