Cuetronix PC Client (2026): Lock Gaming PCs When Time Is Up — Without a Per-Machine SaaS Tax

· 10 min read · Cuephoria Tech

For years, Indian LAN cafes and hybrid lounges had an ugly choice: run a PC-first foreign client (ggLeap, SENET, SmartLaunch) priced per seat in dollars, or run cloud billing that couldn't actually stop a guest from playing past closing time. Cuetronix PC Client closes that gap without turning your venue into a single-purpose esports stack.

What the PC Client actually does

  • Pair with a 6-digit code from Stations → PC Client (under a minute per rig).
  • Unlock the desktop when a session starts in Station Command.
  • Hard-lock with a fullscreen venue-branded overlay when planned or prepaid time ends.
  • Hide the Windows taskbar while locked so guests don't escape into the OS.
  • Surface guest Help / Request to play into the staff inbox.
  • Remote restart and security profiles (Off / Minimal / Maximal) from the fleet view.

What it deliberately is not

Cuetronix is not trying to become a game-licensing CDN. We don't sell Steam keys or image every SSD from the cloud. Most hybrid Indian venues already run vendor-managed game accounts per station. What they lacked was honest session control tied to the same bill as Maggi and PS5 — that is what the PC Client is for.

Why "optional" matters

Billing never depends on the agent. If a Windows update fights your anti-cheat tomorrow, your PS5 bays, pool tables and cafe counter keep selling. Install the client where lock matters; leave consoles and VR on pure cloud timers. That is the opposite of platforms that stop billing when the per-PC agent crashes.

Pricing that doesn't punish adding rigs

  • Cuetronix Starter / Growth / Pro: flat INR per venue (₹999 / ₹2,499 / ₹3,999).
  • No per-PC SaaS multiplier when you add five more high-spec machines.
  • 14-day free trial; download the Setup.exe from /pc-client or Station Command.

Floor workflow in three moves

  • Install CuetronixPCClient-Setup.exe on each Windows 10/11 gaming PC.
  • Generate a pairing code in Station Command and enter it on the rig (set Server URL to your Cuetronix host if prompted).
  • Start sessions as usual — unlock/lock follows the POS timer automatically.
ggLeap runs the PCs. SENET runs the centre. Cuetronix runs the venue — and now the PCs lock when the bill says they should.

Download the client, read the PC gaming cafe software page, or compare us with ggLeap if you're migrating a pure LAN floor into a hybrid lounge.

FAQ

Do I have to install Cuetronix PC Client on every machine?

No. Billing runs from Station Command in the cloud. Install the Windows agent only on PC Gamestations that need unlock/lock control. Consoles, tables and VR stay client-free.

Does Cuetronix charge per PC for the client?

No. Cuetronix is flat per venue (from ₹999/month). The PC Client is included in the platform — there is no separate per-seat SaaS fee for the agent.

What happens when the session timer hits zero?

The paired PC shows a fullscreen branded lock overlay (taskbar hidden). Guests cannot continue until staff starts or extends the session from Station Command.
